I know I have at least one fan that reads my skool posts. ^_^
And now for an update:
-con't with my kids stitcheries, hopefully there will be pictures at a later date. ^_^
-am currently teaching the basics of art to some artists and non artists. I have discovered that they suffer thru the Power Points, and so do I. Maybe with the art history, it will be better. It's also more fun when we do a project. I have fun one planned for later in the week.
-added 2 new drawings from the sketchbook
-currently working on my stitchery. Almost finished with it. I think I might work on it again soon. ^_^ It pleases me.
-doing an art project tomorrow with a breast cancer survivor group, on the concept of what makes them feel beautiful. Hopefully that will go well.
-will be taking my art and lightswitch panels to my gym next week to sell... hopefully I will make some good money from that.

and the creativity returns! Sound like you are doing great!

However... make the art history fun. I had SO many teachers take the life out of that, and I am a history major! I love that stuff (in general...).

Good luck with the selling!
^_^
I intend to make the art history fun, I love art history and I want them to as well. I plan on having them next week to make a cartouche with Egyptian heiroglyhs to spell out their name.
Hopefully that will go over well. ^_^

Yis, I am doing ok.
I got evaled yesterday, I have a good confidence and presence but I lost my students half way thru, they were not engaged... something to work on. But that's okay, even veteran teachers have to work on that.

For sure! Engaging students is NOT the easiest thing I am sure. I know I wandered off during many a lesson while I was younger :P.

Also, I have done the cartouche thing and it has always been REALLY fun!

The best project ever, however, was one my mum did with her class. Because no one knows how the egyptians built their pyramids, she gave each group a box of sugar cubes and a box of toothpicks and some thread and string, and they had to build a pyramid like how they think the egyptians sould have done it.

It was awesome!

Good luck with the cartouches. sounds like lots of fun!
It's not an easy thing... it is hard to keep their attention. I know how it is when I have a glass going on that I have no interest in. Like most things I'm stuck doing these days.

I'll have to think about that sugar cube idea.
Sounds interesting.
^_^
I like the idea of the cartouche too. It is neat to me.
